THIS City in Your Hands

Check out my ARTB work to understand more about the umbrella of work guiding this project.

UPDATE 3/28/20:

#Dallasinyourhands continued in fall-winter 2019 and early spring 2020 in the form of an artist residency funding by the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture. As of 3/11/20, due to CoVid-19 Measures in the City of Dallas, I moved a portion of the project online by leveraging my ArtisticRefinementTherapy.com website hosting platform. Please visit: CoVid-19 Relief Downloads Page to get your own print at home copies of activities that have been uploaded to-date.

Follow #artsactivate on Instagram to see postings from all 2019-2020 grant recipients.

During the Spring of 2019, thanks to a grant from the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs I began using lines as action cues to create paper puzzles based on the forms and shapes of the City of Dallas. These activities were then distributed through a number of interactive events with underserved youth in West Dallas and North Oak Cliff.

The SuperSkilled Characters in the book are designed by artist Ben Griffith.
